What cblaster said, the Cheng Shin tires in white.

You can get them at shop.bellsbikeshop.com.

Mine have been great so far.

Cheng Shin Tire company is one of the largest tire companies in the world. Every once in while they're going to make a bad tire. Unless they've had a recall on a certain model, you should be fine.

i would say the zaffiro since skidding isnt a concern and they are way cheaper than gran compe.
never had a one though.

zaffiro = less than $30

IF you do get skid happy than from my experience, i blew through the zaffiro in 3 weeks

Yep. Tyres are fine. They just don't make any 'good' tires.

i run vittoria zaffiros, was told they'd at least last 3 months with mucho skiddos. since i dont skid that much~ one month into them and the tread still looks 95%+ remaining~

heard nothing but good things about them~ they are $60 for a pair tho~ maybe CST would be a better way to go if you dont skid~ ($30)

i am riding the white randonneurs and i got them from chari & co 60 for 2

they are a little heavier than the zaffiros but they are bombproof and they skid well and i can ride the trails with them too...it's a great all around tire/commuting tire

they were a little tough to get on but i didn't need to use levers which was a plus

Got em too. Perform nicely on road/off-road, and seem to hold up well. Get kinda dirty fast tho.

just looks grey on mine~ i'd rather have grey than buy those faux-white tires with a black stripe down the center~

This if you care about ride quality in addition to flat protection and wear.

I have the vittoria rubino pros in all white. After one ride, they weren't really white anymore. The again, same thing happened with my white bar tape. But no complaints so far beyond aesthetics.

I personally think those gp4000's are awesome, not just because of the color but because its a great tire too. I like the black sidewall but even if I didn't, I'd sacrifice to get the gp4000's because they are probably one of the best tires out right now. But I've decided against going with white tires, looks too grimy.
