Smallest freewheel ever

What is the smallest freewheel sold on the internet for under $30?

For Non-BMX, the smallest you can get is 16T ACS or Shimano. If you can find an AC 15t freewheel, they did exist and I thought they started making them again.... but they retail for about $35

There are several 13t and 12t bmx freewheels on the market (ACS, Odyssey, Shimano, Dicta). Any smaller and you get into BMX Microdrive, which is actually a cassette...

Bikes: Pake track, Soma DoubleCross, LeMond Etape, Maruishi RoadAce 303

^ not compatible with anything besides a BMX hub designed for those small freewheels.

I will go $35 for a small freewheel. Could you please give me a link to one? All the ones I find seem to be for BMX only. Thank you.

The smallest freewheel you'll find to fit an standard hub thread (which is on 99% of all single speed hubs) is 16 tooth. There are several brands, such as Dicta, Shimano etc. expect to pay at least $12.

AC Racing does sell a 15 tooth standard freewheel. They do this by moving the pawls outboard. they sell for around $25, but are somewhat hard to find.

The best thing to do is find a bigger chainring if you want a higher gear

Oh. So Pawls are the things that "slip" backwards, and grip to go forwards...kinda like a ratchet wrench. I got it now. Thanks.
