i know the guys that make them. im switching to them after breaking 2 pairs of soma cages- first i had for months, the second (a warranty pair) i only had for 3 weeks. they are solid, and they are constantly innovating their products.

The Ravenfeeders guys and others like them plenty. Same basic mechanical concept as Powergrips and those seem to get lots of love from the people who are into them. Haven't tried them myself, but for my style of riding I'm fine with my clips/doublers/Toshis.

^ Yea, I think a lot of people would like them if given the chance. They're cheap although I must admit not as aesthetically pleasing as some nice clips/straps.
I chose to go Power Grips on a whim when I first started fixed and I feel there isn't a need for anything else. Been going strong on the same pair for over a year.
Anyone know what Feetbelt used to manufacture the straps? They don't give any information on what materials/substances they are using.

They recycle seatbelts, hence the name.

Their simplicity caught my attention.

Feetbelts > powergrips
have ridden both, not my style at all, but the feetbelts were much better and are cheaper and more durable than powergrips. they stay 'rigid' but have enough give in them to slide in and out with the wierd in and twist sorta method.
I ride cages/double straps but these are worth the $20 if you enjoy that type of retention.
