Kilo TT wheelset any good?

My fantom cross uno was stolen and now im looking to replace it with a conversion. is the kilott wheelset from bikeisland any good or am i better off spending a bit more?

I hop curbs all the time and ride mine pretty hard and I haven't had any problems. My rear wheel goes out of true every 3 months or so but, it's not a big deal. I mean, compared to other wheelsets, they are probably crap but, because they came on my bike I see no reason to spend money on something else. If you can get a better set for a little bit more cash you are probably better off doing that.

it'll get you rolling, but you can find something a bit nicer for not that much more.

Agreed with tFUnK. I wouldn't get em over the other options in that price range.

Bikes: 2008 Mercier Kilo TT

I recommend Mavic CXP22s/Formula Hubs (sold on many sites for $140-160) over the Kilo wheelset, if only for the quality of the threading of the rear hub.

i stripped my stock kilo hub 2 days after getting it, and i didnt even know how to skid, only skip~

tighten your lockring = please.

I swapped out my wheelset on the kilo for some cxp 22s, damn nice. I still have the kilo wheelset. wondering what i should do with them, maybe sell them.
