dude says it's "obo." i don't want to be a jerk and super-low ball him, nor do i want the reverse.
what's a reasonable price for this setup?

i'm just kind of stoked it's a 64 cm.

apart from the surly sprocket none of the components look SUPER nice. i would offer 100 to start, but maybe 250 tops if its nice and clean and the components arent worn.
I would be surprised if he's getting a ton of offers for a 64cm.

Your joking right? You can get a Windsor The Hour for almost that (also available in size 64). Conversions like this aren't worth it unless you are doing it yourself for the experience and/or you have a really really nice frame to base it on. I don't see anything here thats worth much. Old steel is a gamble. I've built three conversions based on old lugged frames similar to this one and 2 of them cracked within 1000 miles. The other one is still going, but probably because I haven't ridden it much. I'd maybe go up to $150. Its worth slightly more than a X-mart bike (maybe), but not more.

thank you for the advice.
i honestly had no idea what to offer for this thing (aside from something in the 50-20o range), and your input really helped.

The SS/FG Craigslist market is very saturated in Eugene. I'd offer $100. Also, start checking out the Eugene Craigslist; at least 4 SS/FG a day here.
