Miyata Frame any good?
Hello,
I have an opportunity to buy a Miyata FG bike for about 200-250$ off of craigslist. It looks somewhat older but I think it may be a good deal for the price. Here's the pics that are shown

Thanks for your input

I had a Miyata conversion for my first fixed. I loved it for what it was (a non-track bike, but still very stiff). The only problem I had was the chain coming lose. That will happen with most conversions though.

A chain coming "loose" is not a problem of just any fixed gear conversion. It was a problem with YOUR conversion.

What about the track frames? I've tried doing some research on the Miyata Track Frame (Miyata Pista?) and can't find any real good info on them, I found one online for $400 and started to talk to the seller, I like the frame, looks good, I heard that the tubing they use is pretty good, Double Butted Cromo tubing i think? I haven't heard anything bad about them thats for sure, but idk if its a good pick up
