redline 925 sizing vs. other brands? does 50 = 54 / medium?

hey, a quick question on sizing for the redline 925. i've looked at the charts quite a bit but would like to get further confirmation...

is the "50" size comparable to a 54 (medium) in a brand like specialized (for bike, say the allez or langster)? the TT's seem to be similar length though the redline is a physical measurement and Specialized uses a horizontal measurement. both would have a 50cm physical seat tube measurement. if it helps, i am 5'8' and have a 31 inseam. just looking to get some insight from someone who rides one.

Sounds about right. The 925's are sized differently.

The compact frame appears to have a shorter seat tube due to the sloped top tube. I would buy one based on what size effective top tube you need. Your inseam has nothing to do with what size you should buy.

My friend has a 52cm 925 which is just about the same size as my bianchi san jose. Hope that helps.
