brand new lumpy tires?

I've just replaced my tires with a set of vittoria ultralite tubes and conti ultra gatorskins (700x23). The tires are obviously lumpy in certain places. Ive ridden for a couple days and the lumps persist. Is this a result of the bead not being properly seated, or will the lumps work themselves out?

deflate re-seat your tube and pinch the beads into place all the way around before re-inflating

I usually inflate slightly ~5-10PSI and roll them about a bit/pinch the sides/... until the beads look straight before pumping up all the way. You can deflate and do this. If the bead is straight and the tire is still lumpy, check to see that the tube is not twisted or pinched. If they are still lumpt, take them back for a return.

the tube probably isn't seated properly resulting in the lumps.
