Choosing a wheelset for converting to singlespeed

I have a 2001 Bianchi Boron with vertical dropouts that I would like to convert to a singlespeed. Which wheelset should I get? I want to spend $225 or less and would like to have a braking surface. Would you suggest any of these: https://sheldonbrown.com/harris/wheels1.html I really like the ones with a 47mm chainline but have been told that a 42mm is better. Any suggestions please?

Thanks!
