Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

help me pick!

so, I'm looking for a new daily ride. if it's not already converted, I will be converting it, so keep that in mind.

I have my choice between a miyata 912, a nishiki international (already converted with a SS/fixed gear flip/flop), an old SS maruishi, a schwinn super le tour, a trek 460, and a univega viva sport. all are around the same price, all are in good condition.

I really like the miyata and the schwinn, but I wanted to hear some feedback from you guys, which would you choose, and why?

thanks.
