All City Cycles

Has anyone here had any experience with All City components? They were highly recommended at my LBS..I'm looking into their crankset and hubs and would like to hear from some people who ride them.

Bikes: Waterford 2100 w/ Campy Chorus 9, Eighth Inch Scrambler.

Their stuff is currently just rebrands of existing components. Though, they are working on their own frame.

With that said, I have their basic pedals. After following the tip on their blog on how to improve them,
I've found them to be great.

I'd steer clear of their grips but I like the clips and I'm planning on picking up a set of their cranks soon.

I have the "Cecil Pro" pedals. They look good. They were cheap. That's about all I can say. I don't have experiece with any other (non-stock) pedals to make a comparison.

The All-City brand is a division of Quality Bicycle Products. They used to be known by the name Dimension... gross.

I can't stand dual duro grips, I've opted for bmx grips.

Who does, Dimension? If you correctly read my post, you'll see that I never bad mouth All-City, I merely point out that their parent brand, Dimension, is gross. Which they are.

Dude, Dimension IS All City. Look through last year's QBP catalog and you'll see all the stuff that's branded as All City this year was sold as Dimension (with the exception of a few new products that weren't out last year).

Also, lol'ing at "sponsoring courier companies."

All City is cheaper, just as good (612 uses a 110mm bcd, andel uses 113, meaning the all citys), and sugino cranks are ****ty as ****.
