Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Giant Bowery help

okay i understand what a "noob" question this is, but last night I was trying to fill up my new Bowery when i realized that the little air receiver is much thinner than a standard tire. this is my first singlespeed/fixed gear/track bike, and i love the bike. but what nozzle do i need to use to fill these tired?

Your pump head may have a grommet inside that can be flipped to interface with the Presta valve. If it doesn't, you can either buy a new pump or buy the adapter that was mentioned above for about $1.50 at most bike shops.

Also, I am interested in the choice of sizing of the bike. The shop I work at sells Giant, and I would have told you that that bike is too big for you. Compact frame geometries are supposed to have a lot of seatpost showing, and I am not seeing that in your picture.
