Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I know it's silly but whatever, it's fun at the office when the boss isn't around.
Post some of your builds!

I think that's what mine do in the basement at night. At least that's what I tell my wife when a new one shows up...

Bring the hate who cares.

Most of us spend a good chunk of the day (hopefully during rainy days or at work) on bikeforums, looking at bikes, talking about bikes, checking FGG, and looking at parts for your bike that not only are high quality but look good.

So why not waste your time with some cartoon bikes in different colors and equipment?

I know it's cool to hate aerospokes, color coordination, and hipsters but you can't tell me that this whole forum is filled with people that only have the most pristine classic looking bikes.
Most non-hipsters probably don't spend their days on ssfg forums.

nice unicycle.

the hate prediction was not because of the site it's because most people that frequent this forum had seen this site at least a year ago and it's very old news. if you had searched, you would have found a preexisting thread.

Jeez there's almost nothing I would put in for my own ride.

Maybe it needs more frames and wheels, and fewer pedals, straps and stuff.
