Tigerprawn, I think most anyone would have done the same thing your friend did. The local police here do not spend much time and effort on stolen bicycles, they have much much bigger things to do (not sarcasm)

Just to set the record straight we didn't bully the kid
. We gave him an option of having the police come and sort it out or he could hand over the stolen bike no questions asked. However, now I feel I should've at least got his parents involved... Teach the little bugger a lesson so he doesn't steal another bike.
