I don't have one on my FG but I love the dynamo hub on my commuter bike. If money wasn't so tight I'd run dynamo hubs on all my bikes.

superflash on the back. cateye spot in the front, but I'm still deciding on which torch to replace it with -- I'd like 3 modes (on/off/blink), short, water and shock proof, 3 hours at least of runtime, and AA NIMH batteries...ITP CR8 is an option, but I havent pulled the trigger just yet.

I got my blackburn flea set a couple weeks back. The back isn't as bright as a superflash, but it's better than a knog. The front, though, is so ****ing bright. Jeezus kryst that little guy is bright. I can't mount it on my handlebars because it's too bright and too much of the light leaks around the sheilding and blinds me. I had to cut up the velcro mounting strap to get it to mount onto my helmet. Now I can look ******y drivers right in the eyes and give them seizures. Yay!

I have a Super Turtle mounted in the back of my new helmet and also have a PB Superflash that has been going for years, gets transferred between bikes daily (seat post mounted) and a 1 w PB LED up front.
And when that isn't enough I have a 10 watt Nighthawk.
can you or anyone show and tell about your helmet light setups?Originally Posted by Sixty Fiver

The Flea's mounting system is a velcro strap that runs from front to back, through a loop then and stickies to itself. I split the strap down the middle to give it two long straps. The straps are starting at the back of the light, run under the helmet's little fin thing, through the loop and then back onto itself.

I am a big fan of the Niterider Mini-Newt USB. It's bright as hell, relatively lite weight and lasts forever. It also helps that you can recharge it with any computer or USB power supply.

Knog lights are pretty fashionable as well as utilitarian. They are easy to attach and remove. Expensive though. 10 bucks on ebay.

I used to use a knog red and white, but the red one isn't very bright. Eventually switched to a cateye in the rear.
