Bikes: Cannondale F700 (converted to singlespeed), Special Ed Angst (48X18), penny farthing (aka Ordinary), Schwinn Mesa Runner (conv. ss), Lotus International fixed conversion
so here's the update...lbs said specialized could not get replacement wheel so offered substitute at no charge. i took it.
mavic ma3 622x15 with surly flip/flip hub.
was this a good deal? i'm not up on the names yet. is it even compatible with what i've got?
only thing is the thread on one side of the hub for the cog has some damage. it doesn't look useable. so at least i've got the other side.
wish i could post a pic of the damage but my digital cam won't focus that close.

It's still a better hub and rim then what came with it. Just run whatever you can or trade it to someone that may want or need the one side. So yes, it sounds to me like a much better wheel and a cool shop to do buisiness with.
