Little messenger bag
I ask this here because fixers know what's up. And....stuff. Anyway, I need a new bag and need suggestions. Need something well made, but the main requirement is that it be rather small. It just needs to hold what you see below, which is: light meter, compact 35mm camera, 2 rolls of film, 1 or two notebooks, book to read, pen, phone, leatherman, spare tube, CO2, levers, allen wrench. Probably my wallet and keys as well. But that's about it. And I'd like to find a nice small bag that is particularly well suited to carrying this stuff when I'm traveling light. Ideas?

I find smaller messenger bags harder to handle, they seem to flop around more, even with a cross strap.

I bought this sweet Low Alpine daypack. Plenty of (expandible)space, slim profile, stash pockets, great padding that doesn't get sweaty, a ***camelbak reservoir pocket*** etc. etc.
Anyway, if you're not tooo set on a messenger check it out.

That camera is actually a Russian copy of an old Contax camera and it was made about 40 or 50 years ago. Just got it for $30 on eBay. The Kiev essentially isn't worth sh*t, though your Konica may be. Would have to know more about it to know for sure.

Try Crumpler (https://www.crumplerbags.com) - they have assorted bags in different sizes and have some nice ones for camera use. I'm thinking of getting one to hold whatever SLR I'm carrying at any time (I currently have 4 SLR's and three digitals in the household). I like the idea of compartments for my film and lenses.

I just got a bag from TJ MAxx that will fit that stuff. It was $15 and it's branded "AND1". Suits my needs (I hope) I think it's some basketball brand or something. I don't really care. I'm thinking of modifying the brand logo on the flap so it says "ON 1"
