I bought the 08 lager it came with bullhorns with the brakes attached at the end, whoever has this bike will know. I switched to track drops and was riding brakeless for awhile. Now I want to put the front brake on using the brake that came with the bike, it has no clamp and it's kind of odd looking. I know I will have to buy some kind of clamp for it and trying to decide where to put it with track drops. I could take a picture of the brake. Just wondering if anyone has some suggestions.

here I'm using a $$$ pauls lever but there are other good ones out there for not so much $.

is the lever plugging the handlebar end on one side? if so, i'm not so sure you can run those on track drops. i mean, you could put it in the same spot on the track drops, but that would make no sense. just go out and buy a cross lever.

used a bmx lever i had laying around. its a right side handle but i just flipped it over and it works and feels fine.

I have nitto b123's with a clamp size of 25.4mm. This kit says it fits 26.0mm, looks like I will have to get shim.

a piece of an old tube should do well enough as a shim.

Like I said, they are super-bling.

+1 for the salsa. comes with a shim-thing that actually works well so you can use it with pretty much any set of bars. also does not suffer from the dorkiness of bmx levers.

Also known as an "in line" lever, which is potentially alot cheaper! *******s had me fooled.
