Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

the upshift never misses though i do i usually gingerly soft pedal though it. my recent slight overtightening of the cable is the only niggle.

i had a red party cup in there for a while!

I wouldn't pay full retail for them. Sure they look nice and I like the way they engage...and they're pretty light. I wish the cleats were Look compatible.

@redxj, i'm compelled to ask for your height. is that rude? if it is, you don't have to answer.

Thanks! the sad part is that i'm recovering from a hamstring injury and can't ride for another eight weeks. you can only clean and tune a bike so much.

the cycling gods demand photographs be taken in the big small or else the flat monster gets you.
