Internet Bike Store
Who have you all found to have the best selection & prices on the net? I've ordered from AEBike.com Benscycles.net but that's it. Just trying to get the best prices possible. Would love to support one of my LBS but everytime I call them their prices are quite a bit higher than what I've found on the net.
Thanks,
-john

I've ordered from Bens a few times. Though last time i ordered from them i got a few charges to subscription porn sites on my card that I didn't make, and since that was the only online purchase i had made with my debit card, i feel like might be linked.
Totalcycling has some good deals on stuff, depending on exchange rates.

P.S. Your shopping at the LBS for the wrong reason if your looking for hot deals. LBS prices are always much higher than the net, but you get it right now, they help you figure out which one you need, you can look at it before you buy it, and your supporting a local business, as well as possibly forming friendships/connections.

Your LBS will always have higher prices than an online warehouse. If your LBS is good do your best to support them - yes out of your own pocket. You know, when you walk in there there is a human being that deals with you? That person is paying taxes, possibly putting food on a table for children, supporting the local economy, etc. because he/she has a job. I, like everyone else do some of my shopping online and do so without hesitation if my LBS does not have what I want in stock or can't get it quickly. Othwerwise, I support them. When was the last time an online shop fixed up your rims or gave your kids a free squeeky toy despite the fact they just fininshed running their grubby paws all over the glass cases and when was the last time an online bike mechanic "helped" you kid change a flat?

You can get deals at the LBS that will far surpass those found on the internet. Become a friend to a shop and develop a relationship with the people that work there. Yeah, you might pay an extra two dollars for a chain there but the next time you need your wheels trued up they might just do it for free. It's also hard to take a product back to the internet if you're having problems with it or need help installing it.

and shops usually aren't too keen on people coming in with something they bought on the internet to help them install it. Sure they'll do it because you pay them, but a lot of shops will just install for free when you buy from them.
