MKS GR-9 sizing help...
just looking for some insight.. i wear a size 9.5 in vans and their site says size 'large' is for 9.5 and up but it know vans are cut small. should i go for medium or large??
large if you ever plan on using different shoes. i wear 9.5 as well and i fit fine.
i ride in large clips with size 9 vans...i want my feet in there as deep as they can get when skidding and all...
I have size 9 - size 10 shoes and I have the medium clips. It is a little bit small, but it helps my toe overlap a lot.
buy them both. try them on. return one pair.
i personally hate metal clips...they'll tear up the front of your shoes a lot worse than plastic MTB clips will
so to answer your question, I would buy neither, and instead pick up some all city MTB clips w/ double gates |
i wear a size 10 vans with gr-9s and large mks clips. fits like a glove.

wait, since when did pedals start coming in different sizes?
get large clips and please go to sheldon brown's site and study the terms
? What size frame/geometry style are you riding? I have GR-9's + Large plastic double-gate clips and get major toe clip overlap on my 49cm c-t true track frame. GR-9's are pretty long. I'm swapping them out for Dixna pedals and size MEDIUM MKS steel toe-clips, hoping to reduce toe clip overlap.
If your frame is fairly large, then Large's should be fine. |
Large clips for me and I wear an 11.5 shoe, and I am riding GR-9s, good fit.
Right now I am using large plastic clips because my alloy clips snapped on me, darn things. |
