When will fixies become contraband?

think about this- everyone who rides a bike is fighting the oil companies (you don't buy gas). Fixies are the coolest bikes and regular ppl don't really understand them and we know ignorance leads to fear, and then fear leads to persectuion. so maybe fixies will become illegal becuase they represent a threat to the bush's oil cronies and are like the ultimate counter-culture weappon. will you still ride your fixie when it's illegal? or are you a poser? i'm calling you out!

People don't fear fixies; they just laugh at all of the hipsters trying to be different just like everyone else.

Wait.... "Counter-Culture"**********

Dude, you can buy a fixie from Trek, SE Racing, Rocky Mountain, BIKES-F##KING-DIRECT... The "counter-culture" is dead. Time to move on to collecting My Little Ponies or whatever the new fad for 'hipsters' will be.

It must be some variation of PTSD, where young suburban kids that survived the last 8 years think GWB is still hiding in their closet at night.
