Alien frame + what fork?

Local shops can't / won't drill the Alien fork for a brake, so I'm considering replacements.
Found this:
https://spicercycles.com/itemdetails.cfm?id=410

but am I missing any other obvious options?

Much appreciated,
Justin

I put a Keirin brake mount on mine. I was gunna get a replacement fork too, but I think this was easier and cheaper since the price of a new fork + price of a brake would be > price of a keirin brake kit.

drill it yourself. Normally, I would say this is a risky operation, but Alien offers up those exact same forks in a drilled version if you get it done by them. So, I figure if they can do it then so can you. Just make sure you have the right size drill bit. Rather start small than start off w/ something too big.

+1 on the keirin clamp on. no need for drilling your current fork (avoiding all problems of mis-aligning the holes; using the wrong bits; too tight brake clearance even after you put a hole in it), and no need to spend money to go get a new (non-matching) one. the alien frame and fork are sold together with the intention of using them together!
