Sugino XD

Is anyone using Sugino XD cranks? How are they? I'm thinking of putting some on a conversion I'm building up and I'm wondering if they're worth it, as cheaper cranks go, or if I should just wait and find an old Shimano road double or something like that.

I've used them on two different bikes. They went around in a circular pattern just like any other cranks. No need to spend big money on cranks such as Grand Mighty or 75 for street riding. Run the XD's and use the remainder for beer.

Me too, perfectly good cranks, crude finish on inside of spider but so what.

Now that is just the most sensible answer I've heard in a long time.

Cheers!
