Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I know the bike. Black frame, yellow letters? Nice ride. I believe he's a messer. See his bike locked up outside my building a couple time a week.

I'm pretty sure it is a track frame (haven't seen it in awhile, and my memory is good for about 20 minutes.) Couldn't find any pics on the Web, but CIOCC does make track bikes. Saw a couple old posts ('98) of people trying to sell 'em.

I see the ciocc track frame all the time. He's a messr. with dreadlocks. Really nice bike. Keep your eye out for the Gan Well Pro NJS bike usually around Toledo Lounge!

turns out there are two ciocc track frames in the area. i spoke with dreadlocks, says he even called ciocc to inquire about a new frame and still couldn't get an answer. his is not the first one i saw though. a bit older with a different color scheme.

Yeh, same here man. Occasionally I'll see two italian track bikes out in front of Reef. I think one's a De Rosa. I'm not sure what the other is, but they are both in pristine condition. Further down 18th street near Rosemary's Thyme is a somewhat beaten up Atala.
