Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Furry spoke "cards"

Or maybe think of them as furry disc wheels.

Seen on a Peugot conversion in San Francisco.

I love it! Reminds me of the post I made a couple years ago. It was titled, "About vegan saddles…" and then you open the post and there's a greasy-ass, half-eaten Baconator burger sitting atop a leather Storika saddle. We had a good vegan hissy-fit then too. Good times.

That is not a bad idea.

After hunting, you can lash the leather on your wheel to quickly dry and shave it whenever you stop at a red light. Just ride around like an stone-age freak and wham, you got yourself a leather saddle, a set of bar tapes, and a frame protector. ... You may need to lash both your wheels if you need to build a belt or something.

I'm sure there are better uses for pelts than that. I really want to put animal pelt accents on a Curbside or Dispatch for some reason...
