I see ... we were using the FN assault rifle back in the day....80's. Seems the new weapon we use uses the 5.56. Just reading up on the spec differences. My bad.

yeh it is a colt ar-15 varient made specifically for the canadian military
alot of modern militarys use the 5.56 because it has lower recoil and is lighter weight
IMHO the FN Fal and the M14 are superior weapons when it comes to range and stopping power
but the lower recoil of the 5.56mm makes the follow up shots alot quicker even if it is a wimpier round

Yea it was a really weird line-up. This is my friend's band playing, which was an Iron Lung style power violence band and the girl in front of me had a rudimentary peni backpatch on. If that gives you any insight. I think most of the people there came to see sick/tired anyway.
