Weinmann Deep V's

I am on wheel and sprocket and they have to sets of deep v's that look exactly the same, but they are two different brands. One of the wheelsets is made by eighthinch, and the other one is by weinmann. Which one is better, or are they the same? What is the difference.

i don't know about the other brand but i would avoid getting weinmen deep v's at all costs. i road weinmen deep v's for about a year and i was constantly getting flats, 6-7 a month with gatorskin tires. if you're going to get deep v's get velocitys. you can find a perfectly fine wheelset for the same cost that aren't deep v's easily.

get out of here...

lol, you really think the weinmanns were the cause of the flats? there are many things that cause flats. a properly maintained wheel is not one of them. its your job to find out what's causing the flats. id like to hear how your rim did this.

I'll let you know after my Weinmann Deep V shows up this Wednesday (or Tuesday, if God favors me).

I'll bet you a hundred bucks all those flats were because your rim tape wasn't aligned perfectly to cover the spoke holes and you were getting an occasional puncture that you blamed on the wheelset.

Weinmann's dont cause flats! Jesus Christ.
They are also awesome! I have one on the back and it has stood up to my 180lb ass / NYC streets / clumsy bunnyhops and jumps and whatever else for the last year and 1/2... they are just now showing the SLIGHTEST signs of needing a little spoke wrench love.
I'd buy again in a heartbeat.

weinmann all the way. great, durable wheelset available in nearly any color your little heart desires. I'm trying to trade someone my all black nmsw front wheel for a msw front wheel....just throwing that out there
