Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

help

I have a tommaso augusta bike and i have 700c wheels on the front and the rear. I like to ride and do tricks and i took my drop bars off to see if i could do barspins if i got risers. i spun the wheel about 175 degrees and the front wheel hit the frame. so i was wondering what i do? is the only solution is to get a 650c wheel? it barely hits... if i take off the tire it wont hit.

I was also wondering if aerospokes come in 650c? and if i wanted to paint my frame, what paint should i use or should i take it into a shop?

You could(with some ingenuity)theoretically add a spacer under the crown race if the resulting geometry change doesn't bother you.
