keepin the ratio
Hey all, got a question. Im looking to upgrade my crankset so its not the horrible old creaky one that came on this bike in 1977. Right now Im using 40t in the front and a 14t cog in the rear. This ratio works pretty well for me, could stand to be a little bit heavier. My question is, since the crankset i've found is a 46t, what cog should i purchase to keep things around the way they are. I've read the sticky on this but it involves entering a lot of information about my bike that I am not really sure of. Thanks!

40/14 = 46/?
14*46/40 = 16.1
14*46/40 = 16.1
