This bike looks really good but clean up the shifter routing from the handlebars......maybe wrap them under the tape? OR....maybe run cross levers up top for the brakes and a thumb shifter? Can we get the front hubs to match the SA5 in the back or vice versa? I like rudetay's BRG color scheme...with some sweet yellow logos. Or blue with yellow logos. I want one of these now!!

Cross levers on road drops without hoods gets very, very annoying.

Personally I like it as is. I'd be very very interested in a wet-weather commuter that I didn't have to be paranoid about. My current fixed commuter has no fender/rack mounts, which gets rather annoying in winter when I have to constantly adjust my clip-on fenders.

Why?

When?

Are these a go? When do you expect them in? I want one! Need a simple, bomb proof ride for my hilly commute this winter.

Because if you're riding in the drops and shifting, you have to hoist yourself up on the top of the bars to brake, then lean back down to the drops to shift, then hoist back up to use the brakes, etc., etc. With standard aero/drop levers, you can keep your back in one place and use both the brakes and shift lever. This bugged me about the build for the Kilo S3X, too.

have you ever used downtube shifters? You get use to it, even though they have more reach than bar-ends. Hell, I live in an urban hilly area and downtube shifters aren't an issue.

Oops, I just realized That the WT5 has drop brake levers- I'd just looked at the Kilo S3X thread, then this thread and then noticed a post about about cross levers without checking the picture again. My mistake. My comment above is really aimed toward the Kilo S3X, not the WT5.
