THAT is pretty badass. I used to ride a baby blue PK Ripper looptail back in the day when I used to race BMX before I started getting product flow from Hutch. I wish I still had that damn bike...........

For anyone who wasn't into BMX back in the early/mid-80s,this will most likely be seen as jackass. The PK Ripper was an awesome and much sought-after race bike back in the day and I think it's cool that they're making a fixed-gear inspired by the original for today's market. SE has been around for ages doing what they do and it's not like they're trying to "cash in" on the "fixie fad" or attempting to turn anything into something it's not.
On whether or not I'd own one...I'm unsure. I do think it's pretty damn rad, though.

well the price tag on it is $1000 bucks but if you are an se enthusiast i bet you would pay for it. Probably won't be made too long so will end up being one of those collection bikes like the old pk rippers. You should go to the website and check out the murdered out one they have too. pretty rad.

Wasn't there a DQM Concept that used the ripper theme, too?
I would never pay for that bike, but I think it's unique and interesting. At least they are trying something new.

It's not, especially for a company like SE who has been a legit force in the bicycle industry for a long, long time.
As a sidenote, those Blitz seats were the sh*t back in the day (and they have a bottle opener built in between the seat rails).
