Gee, I just use Lizard Skin chainstay thingies and cut little holes in them where needed. When I feel like going the extra mile I have my mother-in-law, who is hell on wheels with a sewing machine make me a custom wrap. She even sews in padding and velcro along the edges of the material to easily get it on/off. Nothing like a custom wrap from grandma. But, I don't live in NYC and I've been known to grease my chain on occasion.

Tape the spokes.

Definitely less than 2 rolls. I taped up my bike and it took less than one roll. I taped:

I had a bike in Miami that was taped for theft-deterrence reasons. It handled a couple years in the sun before the tape had trouble.

Definitely *is* a Pista Concept. Belongs to the same guy who has the crazy asymmetrical Yamaguchi and a bunch of other really nice rides.
This **** is old, anyway. EDIT: Here's the Pista Concept on his flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dancing...on/1693948937/ |

To give you an idea of this guy's bicycle stable: That's his beater city/commuter bike. He writes the Cycling WMD blog, and he is on here too.
