Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i'm guessing there's less than 2 rolls of tape on that bike, where do you buy 14 lb electrical tape?

it should be noted that tape adhesive will eat away paint after a few years.

I dont have any super (aero?) wheels. My bike weighs 20 pounds, thank you very much.

If you missed it, this is not my bike.

Definitely *is* a Pista Concept. Belongs to the same guy who has the crazy asymmetrical Yamaguchi and a bunch of other really nice rides.

This **** is old, anyway.

EDIT: Here's the Pista Concept on his flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dancing...on/1693948937/

mostly looks like a total lack of maintenance of your components. the frame itself looks pretty normal for a bike that gets ridden on the street. clean it up & it would be fine.

if your tape bike is so nice that you have to cover every inch of it to avoid scratches and paint chips, I hope you dont freak the *** out when you pull off the tape in a few years...

tape isn't going to help you if you don't put some oil on that chain.
Maybe could use a seat post and saddle, too.

Bikes: cannondales, old 3sp huffy eclipse, trek, random junk

black spray paint would be easier
and electrical tape gets nasty after a while, especially after being in the sun?
And then the goo starts oozing out? and then **** sticks to it.
electrical tape bikes = fail....just sayin
