Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

This is a 1970's Vintage "Elite" Belgian made Track Frame. The frame is NOT drilled for brakes in the front or rear. It is constructed of Reynolds 531 lugged steel and has Campagnolo Brev. front and rear fork ends. The front fork crown is a classic style double crown fork rarely seen these days. The seatube measures 54cm from Center to Center and 56cm from Center to Top. The toptube measures 56cm Center to Center. I had the frame professionally stripped and powder coated gloss black in November 2008. The frame will come with a Phil Wood standard stainless square taper bottom bracket size 110 (I ran sugino 75's and messenger cranks) and a Campagnolo brev. threaded headset.

Standover = 31"
Weight = 6 lbs

Listing is for the Frame & fork, Bottom Bracket and Headset. Picture of bike built up is for reference of tire clearance only. (tires are 700x23c)

Interesting that the guy ran 75's and Messengers on the same spindle, seeing as one is ISO and the other JIS taper...
