Thinking about these for a couple bikes. Could I use the rear brake for a front on another bike? Has anyone used these? If so, quality, performance, fitment, etc. Thanks.

You need a longer bolt for a front brake. A front brake will stay a front brake, and vice versa. Sorry.

I just ordered a pair for a project I'm working on. I got them a few days ago, and the quality seems pretty good. I haven't mounted them yet, since the bike they're going on doesn't have wheels yet, but I'll post back up after riding on them a few times

OK, thanks for the feedback guys. I am looking for a long reach that doesnt break the bank. The Promax is what I am looking for from benscycle but its like 10 bucks shipping...screw that.

Problem Solvers makes a number of long reach brake nuts to accommodate using a rear brake on the front.
