Track/Fixed Wheelset that's not Velocity or H+

Sup peeps. I was wondering what your guys' thoughts are for alternatives to Deep-V, B43, and Formation Face? And by that, I mean rims in that price range and also as/nearly as deep.

Some I've read on these forums: Dodici, Campy rims, Mavic Ellipse.

Why exactly do you want to avoid Velocity and H+Son? If it's just because of the name on the rim I recommend peeling off the Velocity sticker and calling it good.

I got DT Swiss RR 1.2 hoops on my bike. Supposedly better construction and same profile IIRC.

It's not because of the name on the rim. I'm just wondering what other options there are.

or buy a rim, buy a fixed/fixed or fixed/hub and have your own wheelset built

I'm having a pair of these build onto some IRO hubs I picked up last year.

I have always liked the look of the Sun CR18's. I think they look really classy. What do you think a guy would be into those after its all said and done, a couple hundred bucks?

B43 is probably your most affordable deep section rim dude. You should reconsider.
