i try to get my gf into it and so far she can ride about 6-7 mi no problem but she needs a few rest stops. she's also a foot-stopper which is a TERRIBLE habit im trying to help her break. she complains that her thighs/knees hurt due to not sitting high enough. she's scared when her feet cant touch the ground so i'll just raise her seat little by little w/o her knowing lol. n00bz

she rides this clunker mtb she got a loooooooong time ago. ive been browsing around for a nice bike for her but i would feel pretty ehh if she didn't ride it, esp if i took the time to build it. i'll probably get her a ss since she's a coaster

Mine rides a SS that we converted and painted together over the summer. I love walking through campus and seeing it locked up, it makes me feel good to see it being put to use and also it looks pretty nice.

My girlfriend rides a Windsor Hour, fixed. She likes it, but she's so damn slow. Finally she let me put a brake on her bike so now I feel a lot more confident with her riding it.

My gf feels like she needs to touch the ground from her seat. I'm trying to get her out of that habbit and to learn to hop over the TT. She's getting better..soon I will rise that seat post so her legs don't tire out so quickly..

I built up an old schwinn for my chick (now ex chick), with new just about everything, bull horns, powder coated it white, kept the chrome fork and threw in a pink velocity rear wheel with velocity hubs. She's beating the streets. She rides every single day without fail. She clocks in more miles in 2 days then I do in a week!

Lucky you, my girl doesn't like bikes at all. :(

No wonder she is your exgirlfriend, you do not ride enough.
