protruding bike tires/ tires look like tumors

okay, so today i got some new tires, ive set many tires correctly before, but this time, i notticed one tube actually poped while i was pumping it in inside the tire at about 100 psi. okay..i assumed faulty tube..next!

i put on the same exact model tube, i set the tire, all seems fine, no pinches, no out of placed tubes...pump..20 psi, pump 40 psi, pump 60 psi..and i look down and it looks like there's a tumor comming out of my wheels, i figgure i set it wrong, so took it off, checked it and re-did it. same thing happens in the same spot, i try and try for about 2 hrs to get it in,

after i finally quit, i packed my stuff up and walked home...

at the front door of my house i look down, and nottice the same thing has happened to my front tire! what is going on?!?!?!

defective tire
probably a damaged bead or weak spot in the casing to be precise.

I'll bet if you examine the tumor area, you'll find a very fine cut in the rubber. If it's in both tires you probably ran over something small and very sharp.

You said they were new tires. I assume this isn't the case, but it's worth asking: Is there any chance that they aren't the correct tire for your rims? Other than that, the only time I've ever had that sort of problem with a new tire was when installing it on a badly damaged rim.

I had some really super cheap kenda on a bike, just wouldn't stay on the rims and yes they were
exactly the right size. I say you got some bad tires what brand and model ?
