Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Nah, it was luck. I happened to see these things on the Eugene, OR craigslist several months back and it stuck.

I saw a rack similar in Copenhagen and I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction

The rack portion looked exactly the same style but instead of being affixed to the handlebars and fork, it was attached to the frame tubes.

I thought this was nice as it wouldn't mess with your steering when you start to add weight...but I haven't been able to find anything like it back in the states
