Question regarding Ortlieb Messenger Backpack

I'm looking at getting an oversized bag for when I need to carry more stuff than my current backpack allows and was looking at the Ortlieb Messenger backpack. From what I can tell this seems to be pretty similar to the Ortlieb velocity backpack, only somewhat bigger. What I was wondering and what I can't exactly tell based on the descriptions or specifications on the website is whether this bag uses the same suspension system the Ortlieb Velocity backpack uses when it's sitting on your back. Can anyone who has this bag or is familiar with both bags chime in on this?

It looks like a great bag otherwise, I'm definitely digging the complete waterproofing and I need something really big for winter riding as I'll need to carry my jacket around with me to and from wherever I'm going and that adds a lot of bulk that doesn't otherwise fit in my backpack.

*for those living in warmer climes wondering why I would need to carry a winter jacket with me instead of just wearing it when I ride my bike; when it's -10 Celcius you would want to wear something much lighter when riding a bike so you don't overheat, while for standing around in the cold (ie, going outside on your lunchbreak at work) you'd want a much heavier parka that isn't suitable for riding in. Hence the need to carry all sorts of other crap.

I am 90% sure that it's the same system. I was just looking at them recently at a local shop. I can stop by and check when by I'm out riding a bit.
