Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I have an '86 Centurion Dave Scott that came with Shimano 600 cranks and a Tange BB that if memory serves correctly was 118mm.

Haha...so you know in movies how people run and or bike through a flock of birds and they all scatter and fly...not true during polo...so I took a swing to pass the ball saw that I was on my way to tbone a fence and locked up to avoid the fence...I skid 90 degrees right into a flock of pidgeons...needless to say they didn't quite scatter like in the movies ...4 birds, myself, and the bike went down... somehow my cranks got locked under the fence and cracked the locked up arm and bent my bb axle...I walk away with a bloody swollen ankle and crucifixtion wounds on each palm... the bike has feathers in the spokes to let those birds no if it happens again he'll kill em all...4 birds limped and or flew crooked from the incident... **** pidgeons...

i can't imagine any centurions being anything other than ISO BB's. the only other thing you need to know is the spindle length, and even though it's a little bent, just measure it.
