Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I considered it since quite a few friends are doing it/considering it but I'll be elsewhere, at Danny's in Bucktown for a get together thing, I'm co-hosting/organizing. Stop by if you're curious, details on our site: https://www.gapersblock.com

wait what i ment to say was...jesus who was i to think people like to ride bikes? I take back my question...what i really ment to say was does anyone have any smart ass comments to make for someone asking a simple question. I mean jesus to think people on bikeforums.net ride bikes or answer a simple question without a dumb response. I guess being a jagoff and answering with a smart ass remark would be just as good...

Bikes: 1986 Fuji Pulsar, 1975 Motobecane Mirage (in pieces), 1948 Repco "Path Racer" (frame on the way)

The CM ride just went by my window and I snapped some pics. My camera is as lousy as they come but the general idea is there. Watching the guy riding the green tall bike try to mount it once he had gotten off was quite a treat.

Chicago Critical Mass

And now back to work instead of riding.

Bikes: 01 bianchi pista, custom. 04 felt f-15, full record.

I rode in my first CM tonight, here in columbus. Nothing like the one in chicago, that's for sure, but it was good times.
