Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

24" & 36" one-wheel 1:1 fixed.

Couldn't find a separate video forum, so I hope it's cool posting it here. I made a short video showing my riding both a 24" mountain uni and a 36" racer. Also some footage shot with my "uni-cable-cam" at the beginning.

Hey man, no worries it's still fixed (just not a fixed gear, haha); sorry, I didn't mean to come off saying "You shouldn't be here" it was more just me making sure I had the terminology correct.

Anyways, how long have you been riding just unicycles?

haha thanks for the correction, yeah, fixed I guess, and 1:1 direct. I actually went straight to unicycles, without any mtb experience. I got my first uni in 1967, and quit after a year. I re-started riding again almost 40 years later, in early 2006, and found that uni technology had made quantum leaps, so I bought a custom 24" mountain uni, aka, MUni. I try to ride every day, and the more technical the more I love it!
