New saddle and set post

So I was thinking about upgrading the saddle and seatpost on my new soma rush, and thinking about buying a brooks professiona. But the momovelo site talks about "setback/rail problem on Brooks saddles" has anybody experienced this. Any advice about upgrading the saddle and seatpost would be much appreciated.

it's not really an "issue". basically, brooks saddles don't have as much setback as the more mordern designs.

1. buy the brooks and mount it on your existing post.
2. see if you can get it where you want it, fore/aft.
3. if not, buy a post with more setback.

personally, i'm running a B17 on three different bikes and a B67 on two others. i haven't had to resort to a different post on any of them.

I have a Brooks B17 Champion special on my fixie and I love it. It sits atop a late 70s campy post. Have not had any trouble with adjusting it front or back.
