Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

My prayers have been answered!

I think the tide is turning on this FG trick scene. My prayer of "Get a BMX!" to the FG trixters may be answered:

https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/bik/1459095439.html

Here's the text in case the ad is removed:

i have a 2010 leader 725 v2 track frame aluminum with a fsa 1 1/8 headset. a white aluminum straight blade fork and a "stolen" bmx stem. i have 4.25 white sinz riser bmx bars with green track grips. this bike DOES clear for barspins. (clears 700c) i have a front black weinamnn dp18 and green weinmann dp18 in the rear. a 15tooth cog and a 48 tooth universal chainring. brand new KOOL kmc chain. super heavy duty. the cranks and bottom bracket are sinz also. light weight. i have power grips cages which i personally love very much. i absolutly love the bike but everyone that used to fixed gear with me has moved away so im selling my baby. selling cheap cause i want a new bike right away. the frame/fork is about a month old. i will also consider a trade for a nice bmx bike. thanks.
Finally

All I can think is I wish we had deals like that in Canada. I'd gladly pick that up, put a new wheelset and bars on, a front brake, and ride the **** out of it. Instead I pay out the ass for lesser frames and components.

If I needed another bike I would have offered him my premium solo.
