Hey all, Im kinda new to the forums and riding fixed gear bikes, I bought a Bianchi Pista a couple weeks ago and im doing about 200 miles a week, I found one person who I ride with sometimes, me and him want to get a bunch of riders together and ride. Im currently living in Evanston and I work at Clark and Chicago Ave. Anyone into doing some riding or maybe setting up a group or something hit me up. Send a PM.

Well, I'm always up for group rides. I suck at organizing, though, so that part is probably best left to others.

They happen, it's just sort of hit and miss.

It's simple - as al5 was telling me a few days ago (as we were riding! in person!) it's just a matter of someone saying, "I'll be here at this time and this place, be there or don't."
But who will step up to the plate...

I live north of evanston, and there are a lot of lyra-wearing riders on exotic-material-road bikes that go from Evanston or Wilmette north along sheridan road. I like to use the weekend rides to train for the commute, so do the sheridan road loop pretty early on Saturdays and Sundays.
anyone interested in the "hell that is the suburbs?"

Anyone interested in some riding on the South Side, or in the South suburbs? I'm in Beverly and don't know any other fixie riders, but am guessing most of you are around the loop or northwards.
