Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Deep thoughts, by Jack Cranky (aka Karma!)

Why is it that a motorist who, on a deserted street, passes within inches of a cyclist while shouting, honking and raging will stomp on his brakes and swerve into a parked car to avoid hitting a cat 50 feet further down the road?

Man the reason I ride a bike at all is in hopes of witnessing something like this happen one day.

Pictures of cats, and thus real cats are the life blood of these here forums (and of all forums, time immemorial). Motorists know this, and thus cats trump cyclists.

People like to show off to other people, boasting about themselves, shown in idiotic and stupid manner on how they're much more important to you and so much cooler tho their actions are meaningless and might put others (and themselves) in danger. But they don't feel the need to boast about themselves to little animals.

I'm really curious about ur reaction too tho.

Yes, what does one do after such an epic and thorough win? I like to imagine they last thing they saw before passing out was you standing over their bleeding body saying "This is what happens! This is what happens when you **** a stranger in the ass! You see what happens? You see what happens when you **** a stranger in the ass??"
