The real Henry Rollins would never take a bullet while sitting on the dunny.

Of course you do. Most likely, there are also more people on campus listening to Dave Matthews Band than Black Flag.

that's cause black flag blows...

I'm interested to know what you listen to, cause I get the feeling it's probably stuff that most Black Flag fans think blows...

Most likely not. I'm 36 and grew up listening to Black Flag, Suicidal Tendencies, Bad Brains, etc. but whatever. I know who I am and I'm not here to get into petty internet fights.

Side note: Black Flack with Dez on vocals was way better than with Rollins.

People who are in college, in their twenties, right now, on the cusp of a new decade, 2010, are listening to the Dave Matthews Band?

Can I ask why? They don't know any better or what?

They haven't seen the "Video Phone" video have they?

They're apparently still cruising around campus on rollerblades too.

"hey Ron, I went to the pub last night and saw your bike locked up. Thought you were inside..."

but it turns out I wasn't there.

what should I do with it? :crash:

You can give it to me.

H.R. > Dez > Rollins > Matthews

Scrodzilla 12-31-09 09:55 AM

H.R. > just about everyone.

adriano 12-31-09 12:00 PM

taylor swift is better than all of them combined.

kubrick215 12-31-09 12:13 PM

H.R. > this stupid Pista thread

Scrodzilla 12-31-09 12:59 PM

But what if your friends saw H.R. chained up outside the pub?

whitekimchee 12-31-09 01:22 PM

dude i don't know what you're complaining about. Change up the wheelset, add some stickers or something and just ride it.

then that'd be a hate crime.

If you're twelve.

HR may have killed it on the mic, but he was also a homophobic ******* with a messianic complex that superseded everything else in his life. Read Dance of Days, about the history of DC hardcore. Pretty illuminating.

Brian 12-31-09 02:22 PM

It's all about the music. I really don't care about anyone's personal life. The exception being that I wish Metallica still got trashed. They were so much better when they were messed up.

Scrodzilla 12-31-09 02:27 PM

I agree. He's still an ******* and I was only talking about his vocal ability. An old band I was in played a small string of shows with Bad Brains back in the 90s and I had to really stay conscious of separating H.R.'s ridiculous ways from the amazing band I grew up practically worshiping. Seeing them onstage usually made it all go away.

erichsia 12-31-09 02:36 PM

Hey, I saw them open up for Living Colour back in the day in SF, and they were awesome. Still doesn't excuse him for talking onstage about all the "******s" he saw walking around the Castro and how Jah would smite them in the end, or something to that affect.
