bar spin fork for rush hour
i have a raleigh rush hour (06 or 07) and i believe the fork has a 42mm rake. when i try to do barspins the tire is just about 5mm too high to get through. its so close that if i force it it will go.
so my question is, if i get a fork with a slightly lower rake (maybe 5mm less), will i be able to do barspins without sacraficing too much of my handeling?
thanks

barspin clearance has to do more with axle to crown length (rake too). a longer axle to crown will let you barspins with fatter tires. your best bet to barspin on a 700c meant for would be to look for a "straight bladed" fork. otherwise 400a-c 26" forks will work.
what size tires are you running now? if not 23c those would probably be your best bet to barspin without clipping your downtube.
